Project Detail |
The Emergency Aid Project in response to the cholera epidemic and floods is part of the African Development Banks emergency support to countries facing ecological and climatic fragility. Following the torrential rains and violent winds from April to June 2024, Comoros was severely affected. These extreme weather conditions resulted in floods, significant material damage, economic losses due to the destruction of infrastructure and crops, as well as increased health risks, with a resurgence of cholera cases. |
