Science, technology, and innovation (STI) practitioners are facing cross-border challenges in policies, regulations, and participation in overseas markets. With limited information on target markets, resources, and business environments, they find it difficult to achieve cross-border STI cooperation, searching for ways to openness and transparency.
The project aims to foster a more connected STI community by analyzing the innovation ecosystem of member economies and sharing the regulations, resources, and policies of STI cross-border cooperation that impact each member economy. Speakers will be invited to share best practices on local regulations and policies that facilitate cross- border STI cooperation, and participants will be equipped with resources and information on foreign market participation policies and STI cooperation policies.
The project is expected to have two Workshops (one self-funded and one APEC-funded) and an outcome document with best practices on cross-border exchange patterns on STI and foreign market participation guidelines. |
