Project Objectives Wastewater treatment in Taraz is currently limited to the use of filtration lagoons. Such treatment technology results in the contamination of groundwater and poses significant environmental and public health risks. The Projects primary objective is to improve the wastewater treatment and sludge management in line with the national and EU standards. |
