Project Name | Multicell Electrical-Transient-Accelerated Press-Pack Modules (METAPAK) |
Project Detail | Jun Wang is an assistant professor in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Wang is developing solutions to enhance power grid resilience through a first-of-its-kind 10-kilovolt high-frequency press-pack silicon-carbide MOSFET module. The module will have 30 times faster switching frequency and 5 times higher power density than the state of the art. |
