Target group / Beneficiaries
Direct beneficiaries are at least 57,000 women and girls, men and boys in urban and peri-urban areas as well as in rural areas and refugee settlements. In both countries, the number of beneficiaries per location will be distributed relatively evenly. The target group includes particularly vulnerable people such as teenage mothers, survivors of violence or people at risk of violence, people with disabilities and single parents. The program also addresses stakeholders (including local authorities, political decision-makers, opinion leaders, market actors and employees of womens organizations). GEAR will indirectly reach around 180,000 people in Uganda and 130,000 people in Rwanda. |
