Education, security, sport and sustainable development, Le Lamentin continues its modernization.
CONTEXT
The City of Lamentin, in a proactive approach to developing and securing its infrastructure, wished to continue its partnership with the AFD in Martinique. Support taking the form of a loan of ten million euros aimed at partially contributing to the investment budget, and allowing the municipality to continue its commitments to improving the quality of life of its residents.
DESCRIPTION
The investments planned by the City of Lamentin focus on several key projects:
Construction of the Pelletier primary school: with a budget of €8.8 million, this project meets the need to strengthen seismic safety, while increasing reception capacity;
Renovation of public lighting installations: a budget of €12.4 million has been allocated to modernize 5,762 light points with LED technologies, aimed at reducing energy consumption while improving lighting efficiency;
Construction of a security center that meets earthquake-resistant standards: with a budget of €3 million, this project aims to strengthen the operational capacities of civil security and municipal police services;
Renovation of the Georges Gratiant stadium: the €420,000 project will modernize the lighting system to ensure the safety and comfort of users. |
