The project mainly consists of carrying out energy efficiency work (roof insulation, installation of photovoltaic panels on roofs, installation of more energy-efficient equipment, etc.) on a sample of around ten administrative buildings representative of Djiboutian public buildings. It also includes a significant component relating to capacity building and communication on energy efficiency as well as the establishment of a revolving fund to ensure the reproducibility of the project. In particular, it aims to reduce the consumption of the public buildings concerned, promote the development of a sector in the field of energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. |
