The aim of the project is to make a lasting contribution to job creation, inclusive growth and food security by improving the ecosystem of rural businesses in 5 production areas, around the corn sector.
The project capitalizes on the achievements and results of 15 years
of C2D and in particular the ACEFA (agricultural advice and financing of producer groups), AFOP (agricultural and rural training) and TRANSFAGRI (support for the emergence of SMEs processing agricultural products) systems. The synergy of these systems
at the departmental level will provide a satisfactory response to food security issues,
around rural businesses, while contributing to the dynamism and adaptation to climate change in rural areas.
The general objective of the project is to contribute sustainably to job creation, inclusive growth and food security in Cameroon by improving the ecosystem of rural businesses in 5 production basins, around the maize sector. |
