Project Detail |
Sycomi and Syncolek organize the water supply of rural inhabitants of the two departments of Mbam-et-Inoubou and Lékié. The long-standing partnership developed with the SDEA aims, through this project, to develop and strengthen their capacity to organize a quality and sustainable intercommunal public service, in line with the strategic vision of the Cameroonian State.
The project is organized around four components:
C1: Union governance: strengthening the capacities of elected officials to organize the public service (studies, training, exchanges)
C2: Citizen participation: involving the user in the management of the service (structuring and training of user committees, training of their members, payment of a fee)
C3: Water supply: increasing water access rates (maintenance/repair and rehabilitation of water points)
C4: Capitalization/dissemination: reflecting with State services on the setting up of a support system for the structuring and support of inter-municipal initiatives at the national level |
