The project aims to contribute to the socio-economic development of the Democratic Republic of Congo by improving the quality of its higher education system, and more specifically the rehabilitation of infrastructure, the modernization of training courses, the strengthening of the skills development of teachers and the development of university partnerships and scientific cooperation with French institutions.
It is structured around three components:
- The first component aims to support the renovation, contextualization, and professionalization of Bachelors and/or Masters level training, primarily in the engineering sectors, promoting Franco-Congolese university partnerships;
- The second component targets the renewal and strengthening of the teaching staff through the renovation of doctoral training and support for research and innovation capacities in associated laboratories and doctoral schools, in cooperation with French laboratories;
- The third component contributes to strengthening the steering and management capacities of the Ministry of Higher and University Education (MESU) through support for gender equality through the strengthening of the ministrys gender unit and the establishment of a central theses archiving file |
