UniverCell Holding GmbH, established in 2019 in Flintbek, Germany, is revolutionizing the battery industry by developing and producing custom battery electrodes and cells tailored for premium applications like scooters, e-bikes, Power tools, Marine applications, Stationary Storage Solutions, e-Aviation and sports cars. At the heart of our innovation is the dry electrode processing method, offering an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional solvent-based manufacturing. This shift aims to reduce energy consumption by 27%, aligning with the European Unions environmental goals. Financially, weve charted a clear roadmap: were seeking an EIC grant of 2,387 million €, coupled with a 15 million € investment from EIC Accelerator. We anticipate our initiatives will generate over 100 direct job opportunities, thus bolstering the European economy. Beyond these economic contributions, were committed to ensuring our endeavors resonate with the broader societal aspirations of the European Union, from sustainability to economic resilience.
