In the presentation, it is proposed to issue a government decree on amending the government decree on infrastructure support for the use of electric transport, biogas and renewable hydrogen in the years 2022–2025.
The regulation is proposed to be issued pursuant to Section 8 of the State Aid Act (688/2001).
Starting points
Commission Regulation (EU) 651/2014 (the so-called general block exemption regulation) was amended by Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1315, which entered into force on July 1, 2023. It is necessary to amend the Government Regulation on infrastructure support for electric transport, biogas and renewable hydrogen transport use in the years 2022–2025 (the so-called infrastructure support regulation) to the extent that it is consistent with the change in the group exemption regulation.
In addition, Regulation (EU) 2023/1804 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the introduction of alternative fuel infrastructure and the repeal of Directive 2014/94/EU was issued on 13 September 2023, and the regulation became applicable on 13 April 2024. The decree sets mandatory national targets, which concern, among other things, the amount and coverage of the charging infrastructure for heavy electric utility vehicles and the hydrogen refueling infrastructure for road vehicles. |
