To support the adoption of circular strategies in vegetable production by the use of mechanical weed control methods and the use of farm waste for composting as part of an overall strategy for soil amelioration and to improve productivity on 30 small farms.
Specific objectives:
To procure small equipment and tools for use by farmers to engage in mechanical weed control and composting operations.
To train a cadre of fifteen small farmers in the safe use of small equipment on farms
To train a cadre of fifteen farmers to compost farm waste for use in soil amelioration. |
