Netherlands based NewCold is building a new cold food storage facility in Coaldale. The facility will contain an automated movement system to process goods within the facility, and the building will measure 323,000 square feet and a roof height of 45 meters.
This is the dutch companys first facility in Canada, and the project will create 50 permanent jobs. Approximately 200 construction jobs will be supported.
The Government of Alberta is providing $2 million for the project through the Investment and Growth Fund.
