Project Notice

PNR 60698
Project Name Psychosocial Resilience and Care for the Forcibly Displaced people from Nagorno Karabakh
Project Detail Hayastan All Armenian Fund, in collaboration with World Vision Armenia and with financial support from Armenia Fund US, implements the "Psychosocial Resilience and Care for the Forcibly Displaced People from Nagorno-Karabakh" project. The primary aim of this project is to address the humanitarian needs of children and families profoundly impacted by the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis by providing access to psychosocial and social protection services. The focus is on supporting children and their families in coping with the emotional toll of the conflict. This initiative will be executed in five consolidated communities spanning three regions: Tavush, Aragatsotn, and Syunik. The selected communities include Noyemberyan, Ijevan, Talin, Aparan, and Sisian, chosen due to the concentration of the affected population and the absence of similar activities in these areas. Beneficiaries for the proposed project will be identified based on World Vision Armenias database, developed in coordination with national and local authorities. The project also plans to include families and children from host communities to foster social cohesion and community integration, with a distribution of 80% from displaced families and 20% from host communities. The anticipated outcomes of the project include reaching 200 households through social work and psychological first aid, providing psycho-social services to 300 children through Child Friendly Spaces, supporting 200 children through Summer Camps, and reaching 100 adolescents through IMPACT clubs life skills sessions. This comprehensive approach aims to address the multifaceted needs of those affected by the conflict and contribute to their psychosocial well-being.
