The growth of tourism has increased competition among tourist destinations, as each one seeks to attract a greater number of visitors and generate a positive economic impact on their communities. However, many destinations face challenges in planning and managing their tourism adventure and nature experiences and products, which limits their ability to fully harness their tourism potential.
In this regard, the project aims to explore the potential of nature and adventure tourism in APEC economies to provide valuable information to guide the planning, development, and management of tourism products in a sustainable manner in the region, and contribute to improving the competitiveness of the tourist destination. This can be achieved through the exchange of experiences between economies and the creation of a final document that outlines the main adventure and nature tourism experiences and products in APEC economies. |
