Project Detail |
The APEC Sports Policy Network (ASPN) was initiated by Chinese Taipei in September 2016 with the support of the APEC Human Resources Development Working Group. Across the APEC region, ASPN has built a public-private partnership platform for APEC sports officials and experts to exchange views and work together in line with APECs priorities. ASPN will hold 1 to 2 meetings each year, sharing sport-related policies and best practices of sports innovation to enhance the innovation capabilities of sports talents within the APEC region. Through the exchange and integration of relevant resources, member economies can continue to promote sports innovation and create more sustainable development in the sports environment. In 2024, this project will hold 1 physical meeting and launch a hybrid sports innovation cultivation series program in February which aims to strengthen the capabilities of cross-disciplinary sports human resources in the APEC region. |
