Working as one fully integrated team with Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to help complete projects across the site
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is one of the major airport hubs in not just the United States, but also the world. As such, the airport constantly needs maintenance, updating, and even expansion. Starting in 2021 and continuing through today, DFW engaged our team to provide program and construction management services, acting as an extension of DFW Board staff and executives.
Our team consists of 11 member firms, led by Freese and Nichols as the prime. The scope of projects has involved a variety of disciplines including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, airport systems, security, and technology. Our role is to manage project from concept to completion including commissioning and turnover.
Additionally, in collaboration with DFW, we integrated all activities of their facilities program with the other programs from airside, landside, and the central terminal area. The seamless coordination helps address project schedule interdependencies, identify conflicts, resolve claims, and manage risks to protect the DFW Board’s interests.
To date, these efforts have resulted in over 90 projects, in progress and completed, including the Passenger Boarding Bridge Program 1, Energy Plaza Water Condenser, Indoor Air Quality/HVAC Improvement, and Terminals A–C and E Waterproofing. |
