Replacing an existing pipeline with a new system for safe fuel transportation
Protecting the security and integrity of project data with mTOOLS™—built by project teams for project teams.
The original pipeline, built in 1970, helped fulfill fuel transportation needs. To extend the system’s useful life and continue safe transportation of refined fuel products for those communities, the pipeline replacement project was launched.
Our contribution is the engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) on 320 kilometres of new steel pipe. The project will install mainline block valve and densitometer sites along the length of pipe, pig traps at several locations, and examine existing pump stations and terminals to upgrade as necessary.
Using our state-of-the-art mobile solution mTOOLS™ for data collection, our team will improve the safe transportation of refined petroleum, meet the growing needs of consumers, contribute to the economy, and reduce tanker truck traffic on a major highway. |
