The RPG proposes the development of the following instruments: (i) A Regional Master Plan for Integration and Development of the CBC (PM-CBC) as the fundamental planning instrument for the corridor. This instrument will seek to define with a common and consensual vision a program of actions and projects structured and articulated in three dimensions: a) Facilitation of trade and cross-border processes: policy reforms, harmonization of regulations and procedures to facilitate the circulation of goods, services and people across borders. b) Physical and digital infrastructure: physical and digital connectivity infrastructure projects, works at border crossings and logistics nodes and associated services. c) Local productive and commercial development: identification of the main economic activities and existing and potential value chains and actions to enhance local productive development, business capabilities and human capital. (ii) CBC governance mechanism for management, implementation and monitoring of PMCBC. |
