Project Name | From Caterpillar to BUTTERFLY: supporting transformation of DCs in a paediatric oncology network |
Project Detail | Advanced multidisciplinary training in paediatric oncology More than 10 years ago, the joint efforts of a group of parents of children with cancer and healthcare professionals in the Netherlands led to the creation of the Princess Máxima Center for paediatric oncology. The centre brings together all the highly complex care for and research on children with cancer in the Netherlands while maintaining an optimal quality of life. Innovative research is fundamental for improving survival and quality of life for children with cancer.
