The HPMP for the Republic of Albania was approved at the 64th EXCOM of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol held inMontreal, Canada from 25 to 29 July 2011. The First Stage covered the period of 2011 to 2020, during which Albania committed to reducing its consumption of HCFCs by 35% from the calculated baseline. The Second Stage started in 2021 and will end in December 2025, phasing-out an additional of 32,5% of Albania’s HCFCs consumption. Albania HPMP Stage III Preparation plan aims at developing a proposal for HPMP Stage III in close collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Albania (Albania) and the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) |
