Project Detail |
The registration of biopesticides and the application of Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) are today a decisive factor in facilitating trade and protecting consumers and the phytosanitary status of countries. Today a lack of harmonization can be found in the procedures of these areas, therefore, the Foreign Agricultural Service / United States Department of Agriculture (FAS / USDA) has invested financial and technical resources to work collaboratively with IICA to support the development of technical, institutional, regulatory, commercial and political capacities in these fields of biopesticides and MRLs. The project will work with countries of the Andean and central region, as well as eventually with some countries of the southern region; besides,
