The development objective of Improving Mental Health Services Project in Sint Maarten is to improve the capacity of mental health service delivery in Sint Maarten. This project has three components. 1) The first component, Supporting the strengthening of the national mental health system, aims to support system-strengthening efforts related to mental health governance, financing, and service delivery along the full continuum of care. 2) The second component, Construction of a new Mental Health Foundation (MHF) facility, would support the construction of a new MHF facility and equipment to improve access to high-quality services, has the following sub-components: (i) Design of the new MHF building, goods, and technical expertise; and (ii) Civil works and supervision of works for the new MHF facility. 3) The third component, Project management, monitoring, and evaluation, would finance the related administrative expenditures for project management to be carried out by the National Recovery Program Bureau (NRPB) and led by a Project Manager, including the needed expertise in contract management, procurement, financial management, environmental and social standards, other technical matters, and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), including project audits, and operating costs. |
