Project No. CTI 07 2023S Project Title Literature Review on Methods of Greenhouse Gas Footprint Measurement to Better Understand Green and Sustainable Supply Chain among APEC Economies Project Status Project in Implementation Fund Account Self-Funded Project Year 2023 Sponsoring Forum Committee on Trade and Investment (CTI) Topics Trade Facilitation Committee Committee on Trade and Investment (CTI) As mentioned in APEC Supply Chain Connectivity Framework Action Plan (SCFAP III) 2022-2026, lack of understanding on green supply chain management practices and increasing pressure for supply chains to be environmentally sustainable present a non-negligible challenge in enhancing the collaboration of all APEC economies in order to narrow the gap between economies at different stages of digital technology and achieve the common goal of greenhouse gas emission reduction. This project aims to explore the methods of greenhouse gas footprint measurement in order to address the Chokepoint 4 of APEC SCFAP III by doing literature review on greenhouse gas emission calculating methods worldwide, contributing to helping build secure, resilient, sustainable and open green supply chains in the Asia-Pacific region. |
