Nor-Geghi kindergarten consists of one and two-story buildings of about 775sqm area connected by a closed passageway. It is renovated and in relatively good technical condition.
The kindergarten has four group rooms, a hall, a part of which is currently used as an additional group room, a kitchen, an aid cabinet and administrative rooms. The kindergarten has neither gazebos nor a playground for summer outdoor activities for the children.
Currently, about 140 children attend the kindergarten.
Within this project, the Fund undertakes the following activities:
• Reconstruction of the kindergarten’s outer fence (of which the 80 linear meters will be paved with stone and 80 linear meters with a new metal fences).
• Refurbishment of an outdoor playground with installment of 2 gazebos there.
• Provision of additional furniture such as beds, tables, chairs, wardrobes, and other necessary items to the kindergarten.
The below update is as of March 31st, 2023.
The construction is carried out by “Jarangord” LTD.
• The stone pavement of the fence is almost completed,
• The metal paving works of the kindergarten building are underway,
• The foundations of the metal fences have been built, the posts have been installed,
• During the construction works, challenges with the sewage system were revealed and it was decided to resolve the issue to ensure the functionality of the building. Thus, the damaged section of the kindergarten’s sewage system of a total 20 liner meters was repaired·
