This project will preserve multiple state routes across Pend Oreille, Stevens, Lincoln and Adams counties in Eastern Washington.
Chip sealing is the application of a special protective wearing surface to an existing pavement. Included in the chip seal project will be constructing bituminous surface treatment (BST), planning bituminous pavement, crack sealing, hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving, pavement repair, and prelevel, removing existing overlay from bridge decks, bridge deck repair, placing waterproof membrane, crushed surfacing top course, centerline rumble strips, fog seal, pavement markings, guideposts, traffic control and other work. |
