The development objective of Restoration Project of Winterization and Energy Resources Project is to enable the restoration of essential energy services in Ukraine. The project consists of three components: 1) The first component, Emergency equipment for the electricity transmission infrastructure, will fund procurement of emergency equipment for Private Joint Stock Company “National Power Company “Ukrenergo” (UE), which includes autotransformers, transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, circuit breakers, disconnectors, surge arresters, relay protection devices, and substation automation equipment. 2) The second component, Emergency equipment for the heating services, will be funded upon the provision of additional contributions from donors for procurement of essential equipment and materials for heating services. 3) The third component, Project Management and Monitoring, aims to ensure the implementation of the project and also to enhance the capacity of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) under UE.
