The objective of the operation is to support the Republic of Chile in the execution of humanitarian assistance actions in order to partially mitigate the emergency situation currently facing the affected area of the country, that is, in the regions of Ñuble, Biobío and the Araucanía. Said actions could include attention to essential needs; supplies, medicines, transportation, and other materials that allow the immediate needs of the population to be met. The acquisition of goods is contemplated for: (a) drinking water, food and basic necessities; (b) provide support in the provision of relief and transportation of said elements to the affected areas (for example, rental of transport equipment and fuel) and any other goods necessary to meet the basic humanitarian needs of the population affected by the emergency.
