Strengthen the governance and processes of fiscal management and the evaluation of public policies to improve the efficiency in the use of public resources by governments. The specific objectives are: (i) to strengthen the ex-ante and ex post evaluation process, as well as to strengthen the follow-up of the evaluation results and their feedback to the public budget; and (ii) strengthen and expand the diagnosis of Fiscal Management Maturity and Performance (MD-GEFIS) to support strategic action and prioritization of initiatives by state and municipal public managers.
