The Objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Transport of Honduras (SIT) to improve the performance of the transport infrastructure in the country, through the application of information technology and digital tools, for the management of transport services, the maintenance of road assets and the improvement of road safety, among others. The Specific Objectives of the TC include: (i) Design a digital transformation strategy for the transportation sector in Honduras (Intelligent Infrastructure or Infratech); (ii) provide the SIT with a catalog of technological options to apply to transportation services and the countrys road infrastructure, promoting the concept of intelligent infrastructure; and (iii) Design and launch an action plan for the implementation of an Intelligent Road Asset Management System (SGAV).
