Ball Hill Wind, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northland Power Inc., is a fully permitted 108 MW wind facility in the towns of Hanover and Villenova, located in Chautauqua County, New York. The projects former owner, Renewable Energy Systems (RES), has transferred the Project to Northland. The project has been in development since 2006 and has acquired a special use permit from the towns of Hanover and Villenova. Full construction on the Ball Hill project commenced in June 2021 and is on schedule for completion in late 2022. Will connect to existing National Grid transmission line, delivering power to the New York State grid.
