Project Detail |
Modernisation of the regional hospital in Liberec.
Objectives
The project supports the Promoter in the implementation of the first phase (2021-2025) of its long-term investment programme, which has been designed to improve the quality and efficiency of its services delivery. Further strategic objectives include ensuring the long-term sustainability and adaptability of healthcare services to the current and future needs of the relevant population. The project involves the consolidating of emergency care and intensive care in one new building (the CUM - Emergency Medicine Centre). The CUM building will provide space for a trauma centre, an anaesthesiology and perioperative care unit, an intensive medicine department, part of a cardio-centre, a medical diagnostic imaging centre, centralised operating rooms including recovery and inpatient ward, a laboratory and a central sterilisation unit. The project also entails the construction of a multi-storey car park with an energy centre in its basement. The new premises will enable the Promoter to introduce the actual technologies for the provision of medical services, to largely improve its energy efficiency and to increase comfort for patients and staff. Furthermore, the project will improve the Promoters capability to handle future pandemics such as the current COVID-19 outbreak. |
