Project Name | 2022 Eastern Region Chip Seal - North |
Project Detail | Chip sealing preserves the integrity and life of deteriorating roadway by applying a Bituminous Surface Treatment (BST) seal coat of oil and gravel (chips) to the existing pavement. Restoration is necessary before the underlying road structure is damaged, requiring a much more expensive rebuild. Currently, there are eight sections of roadway that will be chip sealed in 2022. This is subject to change based on final budget approval. SR 20 - Spruce Canyon Rd. to S. Fork Mill Creek Rd. SR 21 - I-90 to Canniwai Creek SR 25 - Fruitland to US 395 SR 28 - Grant County Line to Lamona SR 31 - Metaline Falls to Canada SR 231 - Reardan to Fisher Rd. SR 292 - Springdale to Loon Lake US 395 - Columbia River to Boyds Timeline The project is slated for construction in 2022. |
