Overall goal The aim of the program is to actively participate in shaping Austrian, European and international development policy and practice. Expected results The positions of the AG Global Responsibility on processes and issues relevant to development policy are taken up by state actors; Part of the public is informed about development policy issues and the 2030 Agenda; Companies and their interest groups are interested in development policy issues and in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda; Employees from the member organizations acquire new content-related and methodological skills. Target group / beneficiaries The target group of the program are: (political) decision-makers at the Austrian and European level; Journalists and the public interested in development policy; Entrepreneurs and stakeholders of the economy as well as civil society actors. In total, the program reaches around 4,100 people directly and around 22,000 people indirectly. Activities The measures include: proactive press and public relations; Conducting public discussions; tailor-made training for member organizations; advocacy and lobbying; Demand for policy coherence; Participation in the design of development-relevant documents, reports, strategies, action plans and policies; Co-negotiation of national and international agreements; Dialogue and discussion rounds with various stakeholders, participation in CONCORD working groups and regular participation in meetings in Brussels; Participation in meetings for networking, exchange and coordination with civil society organizations, coordination meetings with interest groups from business and other business-related actors as well as cooperation with SDG Watch Austria. |
