| Project Name | New Sustainable Spices Origins |
| Project Detail | This project aims to develop a sustainable production and processing base of spices in Tanzania and Madagascar resulting in a spices chain benefitting local farmers and other stakeholders in the chain and on the other hand giving local producers a unique selling point towards the demand side. Local farmers will be trained on spice cultivation skills for better yields and better quality of production and next on post-harvest treatment, quality control and assurance. Given the high demands in the market a higher yield will lead to higher revenues for farmers. |
