| Project Name | GRASSHOPPERS AND COVID-19: HELP FOR CATTLE FARMERS |
| Project Detail | In the south of Ethiopia, on the border with Kenya, the dangers for the population do not end. Droughts, conflicts over the few resources, locusts and now also COVID-19. A part of the population, who almost completely lives from the livestock industry, is now dependent on humanitarian aid. This project focuses on hygiene measures and COVID-19 prevention. Hand washing facilities are set up accordingly, soap is distributed and people are informed about the ways in which the virus is infected. Cash is also given out and seeds distributed to particularly poor families. |
