An app to help mechanics repair car wiring Vehicle electrical systems can be tricky. If a problem arises, mechanics need to search manually to find information about the connector using catalogues. Many times, a solution is not found and sometimes the wrong connector is repaired. The EU-funded WireVision project aims to reverse this problematic trend by developing a smart connector identification and repair tool app to help mechanics identify the correct connector. This solution will make it easier for non-skilled technicians to make the repair, it will ensure that cars are safer, and it will also reduce vehicle downtime. |
