The project interventions largely include supply of emergency medical supplies and other initial support including procurement of personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, googles, face shields, surgical gloves, etc.), diagnostic and laboratories supplies, and waste management (biosafety), items like testing kits, biohazard bags, powered air purifying respirators etc., required for dealing with the crisis to be financed by the requested Asia Pacific Disaster Response Fund (APDRF) align with WHOs Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan for COVID-19 and the countrys National Action Plan for Corona Virus Disease. |
