| Project Name | Small Historic Cities Development Project Phase II |
| Project Detail | The Small Historic Cities Development Project Phase II aims at conservation and promotion of cultural heritage sites and urban utilities as well as boosting sustainable urban development and socio-economic growth in eight small cities located in the European part of Russia that are officially assigned the status of historical cities of national significance. Project Description The Project envisages (i) restoration of cultural heritage sites in order to create tourist focal points; (ii) construction and modernization of related auxiliary infrastructure; as well as (iii) development of marketing and branding strategies of the cities. This will boost tourist flows to the cities, which is expected to catalyze their growth. The Project’s implementation period is 6 years. |
