Serbia is the 57th most innovative economy in the world, according to the Global Innovation Index 2019 report. Progressively restructuring its economy, the importance of SMEs has increased. But Serbia needs to increase predictability of the general business and administrative environment. The Enterprise Europe Network could help bridge the gaps of knowledge, resources and skills that could be essential for increasing the innovation capacity of SMEs, particularly as regards experience and knowledge sharing. The EU-funded EENClientInnoJourney project will increase the country’s Innovation Index, providing services that will help to foster innovation and drive economic growth. It will deliver 50 seven-day package services among targeted SMEs. These mainly include packages aimed to enhance the innovation management capacities of the SMEs with significant innovation activities. |
