| Project Name | Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) Enhancement Project |
| Project Detail | The following consultancy assignments will be procured under the project: preparation of a revised Strategic Plan for BTVI; enhancement of the Human Resource, Management Information and Financial Management Systems; development of a Tracer Study System for BTVI; development of a National Qualifications Framework for the Bahamas; design of a Strategic Marketing Framework for BTVI; development of a Gender Equality Framework for BTVI; enhancement of Student Affairs Services at BTVI; enhancement of Crime Prevention and Campus Security; preparation of a BTVI Campus Master Plan; support the successful implementation of selected Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency initiatives on the Nassau Campus and Freeport Campuses; assist with the preparation of a Maintenance Policy and Plan for BTVI; and design and supervision services for rehabilitation of workshops and laboratories at BTVI. It is expected that these will be procured during the period December 2019 to December 2021. The following goods and/or works and/or non-consultancy services will be procured under the project: Supply, delivery and installation of furniture and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment for a Smart Classroom Block. Rehabilitation and refurbishment of workshops and laboratories. Supply of equipment/tools/resources for 25 Technical and Vocational Education and Ttraining (TVET) laboratories and workshops; Improving the energy efficiency of selected buildings on the Nassau Campus and Freeport Campus. Skills Enhancement programme on various Family Islands; and Training of BTVI and National Training Agency instructors. It is expected that these will be procured during the period December 2019 to December 2021. |
