Strengthening human resources development, including through technical and vocational training, up-and re-skilling to enhance workers’ capacity, mobility and preparedness for the digital age, will realize the potential of women. One of the most important trends is new media that is sweeping the limitations of time or space and can be great opportunities of jobs for the future and inclusive growth. The project aims at identifying new media skills for responding to the labour market needs, as well as developing the training package that will cultivate talented women, with attention is paid to vulnerable populations for realizing potential and exploring a wider range of career pathway. The workshop would be carried out for providing a platform for APEC economies and stakeholders to share best practices, data and experiences that will contribute to fostering capacity building on digital up-and re-skilling in the area of new media. |
