Project Detail |
The objective of the project is to create a health and social protection system for vulnerable families in Burkina Faso and validate the model through action research
DESCRIPTIVE
The objective of the project is to create a DSPS for micro-entrepreneurs from the YIKRI MFI and their families. To remove both the financial and socio-cultural barriers to access to care, ATIA implements a health micro-insurance service, as well as a medico-social support service, which is centered around a network of healthcare providers whose quality it aims to strengthen.
The project will evaluate the DSPS model that should lead to a scientific article. In collaboration with a team of researchers from the University of Bordeaux, ATIA aims to measure the effectiveness of its model to improve the use of care for vulnerable families.
Finally, it will allow the integration of DSPS into the national universal health insurance strategy. The project is based on collaboration with RAMS, a mutual health insurance network and a key player in advocacy relating to health coverage. ATIA will also organize capitalization workshops. |
