Project Detail |
In Vietnam, 58% of women who have ever been married have experienced some form of physical, sexual and / or emotional violence at some point in their lives through their intimate partner. Hy Vong (“hope” in Vietnamese) aims to contribute to bringing an effective response to gender-based violence through four main axes:
Prevention: promotion of youth engagement on gender issues and gender-based violence so that they become agents of change by promoting gender equality in society.
Protection: strengthening of existing mechanisms for caring for victims of all types of violence, including the rehabilitation of a reception and reintegration center.
Advocacy: promotion of gender equality and the issue of violence through the organization of cultural events.
Strengthening of civil society: this project implemented by four NGOs also aims to strengthen these four actors through the exchange of experience and sharing of methodology. |
