Project title: Settlement of the Marótvölgyi bay Amount of
contract awarded: 2 190 407 587 Ft
Grant rate (%): 100% Description of
project content:
Flood and inland water jeopardize the Budapest-Nagykanizsa railway line, the filling of the M7 highway and the main road No. 7 in the Marótvölgy Inland Gully. Due to the inadequate water carrying capacity of the riverbeds in the Marótvölgy Inland estuary, pumping is usually very long and involves considerable costs, including any compensation. In addition to inland waters, the current situation in the bay also poses a flood risk, and the deterioration of the longer stagnant waters - especially in the warmer summer months - may reduce the water quality improvement of Kis-Balaton.
The aim is to build the Marótvölgy Inland Gully to a level equivalent to the operational water level of the KBVR, which enables the inland water and floods to be discharged with the least possible damage and cost, as well as to ensure a continuous and adequate water supply.
Planned works: pump station, water inlet, World Cup. the construction of bridges, canals and their associated small objects, earthworks, restoration of adequate water carrying capacity of the Marótvölgyi Canal, development work on the other inland waterways of the CBD. Expected Project
