Project Description
• The Tanjung Jati B re-expansion is
a BOT (Build, Operate and
Transfer) project called Jawa-4
under the Indonesian 35GW power
development plan.
• Tanjung Jati B power plant
complex is located on the north
coast of Central Java near Jepara.
• The new plant consists of two
1,000 MW (net) units designed for
ultra-supercritical steam
conditions.
• Ultra-supercritical design improves
power generation efficiency and
reduces carbon dioxide emissions
compared to traditional thermal
power plant design.
• The new units will be built adjacent
to the existing Tanjung Jati Units 1
to 4 that have total capacity of
2,640 MW and provide about 11%
of the total electricity in Java-Bali
power grid.

Owner’s Engineer Services including:
• Project Management support
including EPC contract
administration and schedule
control.
• Engineering Design Review
including USC boilers and
turbines, Balance of Plant,
Mechanical Installations, Electrical
Installations including 500kV
switchyard and inter-connection to
PLN, Civil, Structural and
Architectural Works.
• Supervision of Construction Site
Management.
• Erection and Installation
supervision including USC boilers,
turbines, environmental controls,
jetties, CW intakes and outfall and
balance of plant.
• Supervision of Commissioning and
Performance Testing of the Plant.
• Assistance in quality assurance
and control and environmental
monitoring for the project. |
