The goal of the project In recent years, Saudi Arabia has made tremendous efforts to provide and protect one of its most important resources, water, and to ensure the provision of high-quality, durable water to its population and all needs. On this basis, the National Water Plan was developed and updated in 2017. Within this updated plan (the Saudi National Water Strategy 2030 and the Strategic Initiatives Report), a series of strategic programs and initiatives have been developed, many of which will be implemented in collaboration with UNDP in accordance with the new project.
