Project Detail |
Skill-UP! is a transnational training program for young people affected by poverty in Sierra Leone, Kenya, Uganda and Tajikistan. In Kenya the programme focuses on the Kibera slum in Nairobi. Training takes place in professions such as car mechanics, hairdressing or electrical installation. The young people are prepared for the job market in every respect. Local employers are made aware of the qualified graduates and provide regular feedback on which skills are needed.
