Project Detail |
The north-west of Kenya is mainly populated by nomadic pastoralists whose children often do not attend school regularly. This makes it all the more important that the existing schools are well equipped. This project is improving the infrastructure of a primary school by repairing the classrooms and the administration building. These renovations also encompass a water tank, latrines, a fish pond, and a vegetable garden. Both teachers and pupils receive appropriate training and instruction. Regular school meals give parents an added incentive to send their children to school.
